Principle 2: Protect your child

Children’s primary insecurity emanates from unstable families. Stable families ‘create’ stable children. Don’t settle your scores as adults in the presence of your children. In their school environment, children are confronted by stiff competition wearing various caps.

Help them see and appreciate the potential within them to counter the external pressures. Never make a negative comment about a child’s physical appearance. The scars can be painful and irreversible. Children with high self esteem are more likely to make the right moral choices and to thrive holistically.
