Trade Off Low Self Esteem

Yesterday Friday the 7th Oct, we examined, Overcome Self Doubt, at KICC. Participants realized only ignorant people walk away from the greatness within. Indeed it was a time to trade off low self esteem for high self esteem.

Allow me to point out that self-esteem, high or low, is a judgment you have made about yourself. The time has come for you to stop judging yourself through someone else’s eyes. In any case, you have no idea about their own struggles in life.

Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong. If you put a small value on yourself, lest assured that the world will not raise your price. In ‘The River of Winged Dreams’, Aberjhani wrote, ‘Dare to love yourself as if you were a rainbow with gold at both ends.’

When all is said and done, connect with the emotional Healer. Your faith in God arrests divine attention. Connect with God, connect with your destiny. No amount of motivation and counselling can mend broken hearts.

Many people love you ‘because.’ They love you because you are beautiful. Regrettably, beauty fades away. They love you because you provide to their needs. Unfortunately, your income can fail. God has no moods. He loves you unconditionally. He is consistent. He will always love you.

God doesn’t need hints on how to heal you emotionally. Don’t try to manipulate Him with good ideas. Dare to dream again and regain your self-image in view of God’s perspective. You ain’t waiting on God; God is waiting on you.

His promises hinge on your obedience. We must learn to trust Him one day at a time. While people judge you from your history, God sees the promise in you. He sees your potential. He sees His work in progress in your life.

Our next monthly forum will be on Friday the 4th November 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at KICC where we shall examine, Choices. On Saturday 10th December from 9am to 5pm, I will host the 3-D Conference where I will speak on self esteem (Dare); careers (Dream) and Relationships (Desire) to teenagers and young adults at KICC.
